Nutritional counseling: What the body gets, the body gives
Our organism is exposed to a multitude of personal features which restrict our vitality in the long term. A lack of exercise, stress and an imbalanced diet are typical common factors that inhibit our well-being and can cause illness after prolonged exposure. External influences such as UV rays, ozone, cigarette smoke, pesticides and other environmental pollutants reduce our vitality and are typical risk factors.
Free radicals, on the other hand, are rather less well known. An enhanced energy metabolism, also known as catabolism, caused by doing sport or other physically strenuous movement, activates certain cells (e.g. white blood cells), which in turn leads to an increased production of free radicals. This can promote tumors, cardiovascular, rheumatic, ocular or eye diseases, among others. Furthermore, these free radicals also have a negative impact on the aging process in our brain.
The intake of so-called antioxidants (radical scavengers) helps to protect our organism from permanent damage caused by free radicals and thus retain our vitality. As part of our Vitality-Check, we examine your general condition, physical aptitude, blood count and vitamin proficiency.
Furthermore, we set up a personalised diet plan and nutrition schedule for you, tailor-made according to your medical examination results. An emphasis is placed on the radical scavengers found in vitamin C, D, E, selenium and carotene, since these are seldom found in adequate quantity in our daily food intake.
