Helicobacter pylori respiratory test

According to recent medical studies, the helicobacter pylori bacterium is pathogenic, i.e. helicobacter pylori are partially responsible for causing stomach cancer. Furthermore, various unspecified stomach disorders are also attributed to this form of bacteria.

To detect helicobacter pylori bacterium in the stomach, it is not necessary to carry out a gastroscopy. Instead, an easily applicable respiratory test is used as form of diagnosis. Should the patient be inflicted with the bacteria, he is then treated according to the current guidelines defined by the WHO (World Health Organisation).
