Regular prevention is the key to recognizing cancer at an early stage
A systematic and targeted preventive medical examination is the only manner to diagnose cancer at an early stage and allows an efficient form of treatment. That is the reason why we place great emphasis on preventive screening in the form of thorough check-ups.
After having arranged a fixed appointment, you will be asked to come to our practice where we will take a blood sample. Please come empty-stomached, we will offer you a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea afterwards. Cardio and pulmonary function tests, a physical corporeal check up and possible ultrasound and further medical examinations (audiometry, visual acuity, urinary and faecal tests, etc.) may follow. In the adjoining radiography, heart and lungs will be x-rayed. Additional necessary medical examination will be arranged directly with the corresponding specialist practices by us. You will receive note samplers which will help us detect non-visible blood in the gastrointestinal tract. We kindly ask you to precisely follow the instructions for use and bring everything with you on your second appointment.
Your first appointment will last between one and three hours, the second approximately between thirty minutes and one hour. The latter is used to finalize any potentially outstanding medical examinations as well as to discuss the findings of the first check-ups. Contrary to the first appointment, this can also take place in the afternoon. Please arrange an appointment either by phone under 069 61 99 52 90 during our opening hours or through our online service 24 hours a day.
After all medical examinations have taken place and relevant evaluations been carried out, you will receive a detailed report on diagnostic findings and relevant recommendations by post. If desired, the report will be drawn up in English for our foreign language patients. Our Japanese patients may additionally receive the laboratory results in their native language.
Should you have any further questions or desire additional information, please contact us. We will be glad to assist you.
